Here’s a short guide for fitting a caravan wallboard:
Tools Needed:
- Wallboard
- Measuring tape, pencil
- Jigsaw or handsaw
- Drill, screws, screwdriver
- Adhesive, sealant, spirit level
Steps:
- Turn off power: Ensure the caravan’s power is off.
- Remove old wallboard: Unscrew and remove it carefully.
- Measure and cut: Measure the wall space and mark the new board. Use a saw to cut the board to size.
- Apply adhesive: Spread adhesive on the wall or frame.
- Fit the board: Press the board in place, ensuring it’s level. Use screws to secure it or clamps if using just adhesive.
- Finish up: Seal edges, reattach trims, and clean up.
- Turn power back on once the board is secure.
